Acupuncture has become widely accepted in the United States and has been endorsed by the World Health Organization (WHO ) and the National Institute of Health (NIH). Acupuncture is scientifically recognized as effective in the treatment of over 50 common diseases including:
- Back Pain
- Chronic Fatigue
- Digestive Ailments
- Cancer Care
- Gynecological Conditions
- Joint Pain
- Chronic Illness
However, you need not have any symptoms to benefit from acupuncture. You can also prevent illness, experience well-being, and improve your current state of health through treatment.
DRY NEEDLING? YES WE DO!
Many people call our office asking if we do “dry needling”. Dry needling is the use of acupuncture needles to release trigger points or hyper-irritated tissue. Acupuncturists actually invented “dry needling” thousands of years ago (called Ashi Acupuncture).
The benefit of seeing a licensed acupuncturist for this treatment is that not only will you have an expert “dry needler” but you will get the benefit of having systemic acupuncture done at the same time to support the trigger point needling and address your other health concerns. This is something that ONLY those licensed to perform acupuncture may do.
